Chandelier card - Grand Soiree

I love the shabby chic look and candeliers, and even though this stamp set (Grand Soiree) is retired, I was inspired to use it for a thank you card this week.  And the person I made it for has the "matching" room decor, so made it in colors to match her room - pink and brown.

I brayed soft suede ink
on the top part of the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder by Stampin Up, then ran the paper through to emboss it  The chandelier was heat embossed with soft suede and clear embossing powder, then I put rhinestones on it.  The picture was mounted on soft suede cardstock, which was also the color I used to distress the edges of the vintage wallpaper cardstock.

The striped grosgrain ribbon was cut in half lengthwise and then a bit of lace was tied onto it.

I was glad that she liked the card!!

My kitchen countertop makes for a beautiful reflection, doesn't it?
Check back for sneak peeks of my projects for the Sudsol blog tour
on May 17th!!
