Umbrella weather! Stampin' Up "stepped up" cards

It has been "monsoon" season here in Arizona - humid, rainy, wet...reminds me of when I lived on the east coast....it has caused my sinuses and allergies to act up and I have not been well the last few weeks.  So yesterday I finally went to the doctor, who told me I should have come in sooner (never had that happen before!) and I had to get two (!) shots and antibiotics.  My bad...but already I'm feeling a little bit better and food is starting to taste good again.

Monsoon season is the Arizona summer thunderstorm season and is approximately 56 days -- there is more rain during this time - every day, and mostly cloudy.  And of course it is hot - around 100 degrees.  I thought the Stampin' Up stamp set Weather Together and matching framelits are perfect to share!  It has a cute umbrella, and I like umbrellas.

With the framelits, you can easily die cut lots of cute umbrellas without that fussy cutwork!!  At the beginning of this post was an easy and quick card to make using this set from the Stampin' Up Artisan team (they provide tons of great ideas).  If you like to make cards with a little more embellishments, here are 2 "stepped up" cards based on the easy card:

Embossing paste and the cloud decorative mask are used on the last card.  You can purchase the items for this card in my online store, and if you want to get a discount on Stampin' Up items, by joining as a demonstrator, you not only get this, but ideas, promotions, advance notices, tutorials, and so much more....check it out in my online store:

If you really, really like umbrellas, here is another pretty stamp set with an umbrella, Beautiful You.

Hope you are staying drier than we are here!
