Swap card & Paper Craft Crew card challenge #201 - a cute dog in emerald

I love all dog-related stamping items and in the current Stampin' Up catalog, there is an adorable dog stamp set called Bella & Friends.  So of course I had to use it for a stamp swap I am in...  It was hard to decide which of the dogs in this set I wanted to use!!  I am also going to post it in the Paper Craft Crew card challenge #201 which is now up:  www.papercraftcrew.com

The new Stampin' Up in color 2016-2019 are in the current catalog and the Emerald Envy is gorgeous (love that name) which I used for my card...There are also matching accessories that I had to take advantage of--the emerald envy enamel shapes (the dog's collar), in color doilies (I used the reverse side of the green doily), designer series pack, and baker's twice.  These items are shown below and you can buy all of these products in my online store.

I also used one of the new designer series papers - Moroccan - Stampin' Up's designer papers are all reversible, which makes them really versatile.

Other supplies I used are early expresso and crumb cake ink, emerald envy marker, blender pen to color the dog, and the blossom bunch punch.  In hindsight, I should have used watercolor paper, as it is much better if you are going to do any watercoloring.  But when I made up my card, I wasn't sure how or if I would be coloring the dog!  Here are a few more pictures of the card:

I wonder who I will send this card to?

One sheet wonder cards with new Stampin' Up paper

If you don't know what a One Sheet Wonder card set is, it is a card technique where you cut up one sheet of paper that is either a pre-printed patterned paper or paper that you stamp an all-over design on, and then you use the pieces to make a bunch of different cards or projects (scrapbook pages, bookmarks, 3-D items, etc.), usually following a template design/pattern.
Since I had to make some swap cards, I decided to make them using the OSW technique with a piece of the new Stampin' Up 12 x 12 designer series paper.

I really liked the Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer

Series

Paper, as it has copper accents in it -  copper is my most

favorite metallic color. There is also copper metallic thread

and embossing powder you can buy from the current Stampin'

Up catalog or my online store:

The OSW template I used can make 16 cards!  It is really fast and fun to use a OSW!!  Here are 8 of the cards I made with this, with all new Stampin' Up products you can purchase in my online store:

You can read more about the template I used here:  http://cambriaturnbow.blogspot.com/2007/04/16-cards-from-one-designer-piece-of.html

If you would like a .pdf of the OSW template, send me an email, OK?

Playing with new colors from Stampin' Up

Oh my goodness, it has been over a week since I posted here, mostly due to the excitement generated by the new Stampin' Up catalog that came out June 1st!  Along with new "In Colors" (see below) and new items, there are new product bundles....you can check out the new catalog and items in my online store:  http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/marynoble/

This is one of my favorite new Product Bundles, maybe because now that I live in Arizona, we see all kinds of cacti.  They usually don't look this perfect and each have their own story.

I also love the more intricate diecuts and stamps.

And I am really fond of little red foxes, so this foxy bundle set is so darling!  but you can make other cute animals with it as well....

If you want to make it easy on yourself because you can't decide where to start with ordering any of the new Stampin' Up items, you can join as a demonstrator for only $99 - pick the items you want in your starter kit and earn discounts, always have an instant go-to source for making projects, and connect with other Stampin' Up demonstrators.  One of the very best resources for Stampin' Up demonstrators I like is the Stampin' Up Connection....kinda like window shopping, and we all love that!!
Join today or purchase a few new Stampin' Up items in my online store:

http://www.stampwithkathya.com/

Welcome to our June blog hop where we are featuring cards using brand-new items from the newest Stampin' Up catalog!   The previous blog was Kathya  http://www.stampwithkathya.com  and she always has super great projects.  BTW, you can purchase any of the products shown on the blog hop cards in my online store....http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/marynoble/

Here is my card that I made with some of the newest Stampin' Up products that are featured in the just-out Stampin' Up catalog:

The Stampin' Up products I used were:
Crumb cake and night of navy ink and cardstock,
Owl builder punch for the circles,
Blossum bunch punch for the flowers,
Affectionately yours designer paper,
Linen thread for the bow,
Rhinestones, and
Picture perfect stamp set for the Just A Note.

Here are a few more pictures of my card:

I really like the Affectionately Yours designer paper, and all of my papers and flowers came from this very versatile set of paper, which is reversible.  I couldn't decide which paper to use, so I used 4 different patterns from this set!

The next blog on our June blog hop is Barb, who is our blog hop button designer - they are always beautiful and I'm sure you will enjoy her beautiful project as well!
