Craft fair cards; sunbathing furbaby; Christmas tree

I love looking at stores decorated for Christmas!

I have been making up items for the craft fair in our community next month - here is one of the items....these are coloring card sets (4 cards to color, 4 envelopes) with a penguin gift tag on the front,

Do you stamp your envelopes to match your cards? More rainbows...

Now isn't this a contrasting picture or what?  A fall/halloween pumpkin and a Santa Christmas card?!  Yeah, I am one of those people who do like to stamp an envelope to match my card, most of the time.  After I made this card in a class recently, of course I stamped my envelope.  And took it home.  When I took the card and envelope out of my little stamping bag, I had to look at it twice, because it looked like I had forgotten to watercolor in the top half of my Santa picture....Now I didn't plan this out or use any tool to line the Santas up with!  This is what it looked like when I first took it out

Double Rainbow and Stork; Sleepy Owl Cards

I used my adorable owl punch again today; after seeing that movie Legend of the Guardians (it was great!) and all the different and pretty owls in it, I have lots of ideas for owls.  This was for a swap where you can use whatever you want, so I used both Stampin' Up and some of my non-Stampin' Up supplies.  I wanted to use different types of textures to create a scene that you might see on a moonlight walk..

If you have school-aged children, I bet they will have some time off for the Thanksgiving holiday and so you will want to keep them busy - What a better way to save yourself some money (and sanity) by keeping them busy making Christmas projects?!   You might even have some fun yourself lol.  Let me help you get through that Thanksgiving vacation time....
P.S.  We started a new session of dog agility classes this week - here is our furbaby Inu in her little pink collar, "listening" to what the teacher is saying so she can "practice" it with her daddy - isn't she a cute little patient doggy?  And see how well her classmates wait in their crates?  Probably anticipating those yummy dogg treats for a job well done!!  Thanks for stopping by!!

Upcoming Holiday SUDSOL Blog Tour - Nov. 3rd

I was able to get my first spot on a blog tour!!  Yay! The SUDSOL blog tour for Stampin' Up demonstrators!  It will have a holiday focus (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines, etc.) and I will be making up 3 projects for it.  Of all the groups I have joined for paper crafting, I am liking this one the best and it is well worth it. I did the 2-week free trial, and then joined for 3 months....then rejoined for longer. There is a ton of things you get with your membership - I still haven't checked them all out yet!  Here is SUDSOL's mission: SUDSOL (Simply Unique Demonstrators Sharing On Line) is a online community of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators dedicated to providing creative and professional information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All demonstrators regardless of location, regardless of the support you are getting elsewhere, we are here to support you 24/7.

I usually sketch out a design first, but it seems that whatever I end up making is somewhat different from my sketch!  I really like shabby chic and vintage styles, so want to design my projects with those themes....So last night I was working on some sketches....I  have so many ideas that I have to make a list, then decide on what Stampin' Up items I have that will work....then I start drawing designs....

More info in the future about my projects and the SUDSOL Blog Tour....check out the 2-week trial membership - like they say, Try It, You Might Like It .... reminds me of that cute funny tv commercial with Mikey trying the Life cereal (Brothers saying to each other, "...he won't like it, he never likes anything...he likes it!?!".... )  Anyone remember that one?!  Click on this link to see for yourself:  Free 2-week trial for SU demonstrators on me!    Thanks a bunch!

Dog cards; birthday purse card set

Sorry I haven't posted for a week - I had some surgery last week where they removed the hardware that was put into my lower right leg/ankle last year when it was broken.....since it had been giving me lots of problems and pain, it was taken out - it was a 2.5" plate and 7 heavy duty screws....they gave them back to me so now I have something for my toolbox.  My leg stings where it was cut and stitches done....so just been taking it easy.  Thought I would post pictures of some of the dog cards that my hubby and I made to raise funds for the sheltie dogs rescue.  I used retired Stampin Up designer paper and ink, and several of the dog stamps I have started collecting since I became a dog lover when we adopted our furbaby.  Here are a couple more
