Lace and ribbon weaving technique tutorial in Dec. Papers and Pixels

Today the December issue of Papers and Pixels came out!

Masculine In Wilderness Mug of Truffles; my buffalo story

Today I made a Christmas gift for my hubby - well, actually it will be from our furbaby to her "daddy!"  It was for a challenge on Sudsol for Christmas gifts or boxes you had made...Since my husband loves the outdoors, I thought the In Wilderness stamp set by Stampin' Up would be appropriate - I had this mug where you can decorate the paper between the outside and inside.

Trying my digital camera today!  You can see the tinsel trim on the bag and middle tag, the embossing on the red tags, but not the rhinestone on the JOY or green treetop - will have to see what I can do about that.  When I scan things in my computer, often you can see these little details better.

Christmas treat bags for the dogs and cats

I have been busy making Christmas treat bags for dogs and cats!  I was able to use quite a bit of my retired Stampin' Up papers and ribbons - the pink and purple ones are for the girl dogs and cats.  The tops of the bags are the Top Note diecut. 

Aren't they cute? - they look like little purses and you can hang them on your tree.

Shabby chic red and plum gift tags - more details

This week I made 7 gift tags for a swap (got some ideas on putting these together from the Sept. to Remember event in AZ recently where we made a whole box of gorgeous vintage tags) - although all the tags I made were similar, there were some slight variations between each one - because I had a hard time just choosing which of the pretty hearts I wanted to put on them lol.  You can see the differences in the 3 tags
