Since the Stampin' Up holiday catalog is now available, there are opportunities to play with the new products in it. One great way to feature these products is with a "guts" card challenge where you receive several parts of a card that uses the new products, and then you arrange them however you want to put together a unique and different card than someone else. Here is the card I made for our September "guts" card challenge - I focused on a Christmas theme:
I used several new items from the Stampin' Up holiday and annual catalogs: 2 embossing folders, silver and gold sticky-back pearls, mini gold sequin trim, and pearlized doily. Here are a couple more pictures of this card;
I love how the galvanized cardstock, pearls, and pearlized doily have a subtle sheen to them! The gorgeous purple paper and greeting are a return of a previous color, blackberry bliss.
