Fabric baby books; Christmas projects from Stampin' Up

Now that Thanksgiving is over, it's time to think about the next upcoming holiday - Christmas - and I want to share some wonderful Christmas ideas and projects, but wanted to show the cute fabric baby books I just made.  Two of my nieces just had a baby boy and girl, and since they wanted books, I wanted to give them a book that the babies could enjoy now; hence, I made two fabric books! And these books are also washable!!

The first book was for a baby girl, and has a cute little mermaid girl playing Follow the Leader while teaching numbers.  Here are pictures from the book:

The other fabric book I sewed is for a baby boy and is an alphabet animal book - here are the pages:

I am finishing up the baby cards to go with the books, and then send them out along with a cute little crocheted blanket and stuffed toy for each.

Since I just put up my outside Christmas lights and decorations, I just have to show you 3 Christmasy Stampin’ Up projects made using the Let It Snow Suite Bundle item 153386.  There is a pretty decorated baker’s box tied with red ruched ribbon, an embellishment box with cute jingle bells, and a coordinated card trimmed with a row of silly snowmen, cut from the Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Details on how you put these together is on Facebook. You can purchase all of the items used in these in my online Stampin’ Up store at:  https://marynoble.stampinup.net/

Cards recently made to try with Stampin' Up products

It's always fun  to go to a cardmaking convention and I love to do the Make & Takes....I am lucky that several times a year there is a cardmaking/scrapbooking convention show close to me, and I go to just about every one of them.  Here are 4 cards I made at one I went to recently.  I like to do this because it gives me ideas on cards I can then make with my Stampin' Up items!

This is a two-step stamping project and done with watercoloring - I have the Stampin' Up watercolor pencils, so I will try to duplicate this with one of the two-step stamp set from Stampin' Up.  Here are the pencils Stampin' Up has:

And here are the 2-step stamp sets Stampin' Up has (that I also have!):

Happy Tails

High Tide

Butterfly Gala

The next card is flowers printed on acetate and placed over glitter paper - really stunning, and fortunately, Stampin' Up has acetate and glitter paper!  The corner designs are cut from foil, which Stampin' Up also has!!

This last card used the Iris Folding technique and some gorgeous papers - this technique is easier than it appears (if you do an online search, you will find much info on it) and fun and relaxing as well!

I think I could duplicate this card with some of the lighter weight paper and vellums that Stampin' Up has - the cutout is done with a diecut (Stampin' Up has these) on cardstock that is embossed (Stampin' Up has many embossing folders that would work).

If you are interested in purchasing any of the products to make any of these cards with Stampin' Up items, you can check them out in my online store:  https://marynoble.stampinup.net/

If you want more details on making these cards, just send me an email, OK?

Happy November - new trimmer, birthday cards and autumn lights

Before I forget, I wanted to let you know that Stampin' Up's new trimmer is now available for $25 in my online store:  https://marynoble.stampinup.net/

I put up some autumn outside decorations - my favorite was my little metal house:

I got some orange mini-lights and put them on flash and ran part of the string through the house, so it looks like it has orange lights inside!

Kinda neat, don't you think?!  What do you do for outside decorations?  I will leave these up until it is time for Christmas decorations - I see a few neighbors have already started to put up their Christmas decorations...

Also I just had another birthday and received some great handmade birthday cards from other Stampin' Up ladies:

This is another benefit you get when you join Stampin' Up - meet and interact with other folks who do Stampin' Up!  You can find out about joining Stampin' Up in my online store:  https://marynoble.stampinup.net/
