Here is the card I designed using My Digital Studio (Stampi Up) - don't you just love the colors yellow and blue together?  Such a bright cheery card I thought...today's card is dedicated to my mother, as it is her birthday!  Many years her birthday and Mother's Day fall on the same day, or one right after the other. This year, however, her birthday was 4 days before Mother's Day. 

So right after I post this I'm going to call her to wish her a happy birthday and see if the got the forever birthday calendar I mailed her.  Since she is on the east coast and they are on daylight savings there, I have to remember that her time is 3 hours later than my time.

Isn't this a gorgeous flower and color?  He calls it 'tangerine tango,' which is one of Stampin Up's colors!!  This is what P. Allen Smith, the famous gardener, said in his article.  Here are some more of the beautiful flowers in tangerine tango he posted:

Cards to share

 I wanted to share the cards I had our cardmaking group make this month - they were cased from other Stampin Up designers, but I forgot to write down their names....:-(

 The cards were fun to put together and fairly quick and simple!  Thanks to Galene for helping me narrow down the cards to only 3 LOL.  One uses the Elegant Bird diecut by Stampin Up, and the Everyday Enchantment that was featured in the Saleabrations mini-catalog this year.  It also uses the Paper Doily diecut...I found that you can't use cardstock for this doily diecut as the cuts don't go all the way through.  So we used the thinner designer series paper and it looks really pretty behind the bird.  The bird's eye is one of the large half-pearls.

 This card uses the Mocha Morning designer series paper and the blossoms punch, as well as a chocolate chip corduroy brad that is retired - we punched 3 blossoms and wrinkled them before putting them together.

The stamp on this card is actually two stamps - one is a border-type along the side, then 3 flowers were stamped in the top, middle and bottom spaces of the border stamp.  The ribbon, blue cardstock, and ink are retired Stampin Up, but you could use many other combinations of monochromatic colors to make this cute card.

Details:  Hundreds of stamps and accessories from the 2011-2012 catalogs are retiring, and this is your chance to get them before they're gone. Many products are only available while supplies last, so be sure to get your order to me early!

When you view the retiring stamps list, you may notice it's longer than in years past. During this transition to the new annual catalog, there are a higher number of stamps being refreshed and replaced than usual. While many stamps are going away, most are being replaced so that the breadth of our stamp lines is every bit as broad as ever!

Retiring accessories are only available while supplies last.
