Shammy this, shammy that...what is a shammy?

Such a funny name for a super useful new Stampin' Up item!  So what does a shammy look like?  For one, I love the color - here is a picture of it:

And here is a description of what this item is used for:

Simply Shammy  #l47042; $8 - This reusable stamp cleaning cloth makes stamp cleaning effortless. Just add water, then wipe stamps on the shammy. Durable, thick shammy easily cleans ink from narrow grooves. No lint, no chemicals—just clean! (Ink will stain shammy but won’t transfer to your fingers or other stamps.) With its portable 5" x 7" (12.7 x 17.8 cm) size it fits neatly in a stamp case.  Available in my online store:  http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/marynoble/

Clear-Mount Stamp Cases #119105  $6 for 4 cases

You can cut it up into smaller pieces - Before you use your Simply Shammy, you need it to be moist, so use your Stampin' Spritzer. But you don't want water getting all over your grid paper! So, take a spare stamp case, here I have used a standard sized one, and place your Simply Shammy inside. It's a perfect fit. Now you can spritz it with water and keep it in there to clean your stamps. Don't forget that when you've finished creating you need to let it dry out between uses. Leave the stamp case open until the Simply Shammy is dry.
