April blog hop!

Welcome to this month’s blog hop with Di's Country Inkers!  And happy April Fool's Day!!

Our theme for this blog hop are the colors in It's My Party paper pack - Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, and Mint Macaron.  Here is my card:

I based my inspiration on the card on p. 77 of  Stampin’ Up’s current catalog.  I changed a few details on the card which included using a different embossing folder since I didn’t have the Elegant Dots (I used Boho Chic), colored rhinestones, and a ribbon in linen thread. The stamp set/framelits die used were the Flower Patch and Flower Fair, which made it sooooo much easier to cut out the pretty flowers and leaves. How spoiled we are now with framelits diecuts and don’t have to fussy cut all the details!

Here are a few more pictures of the details in my card:

You can purchase all of the Stampin’ Up products used in my online store (inkpad colors used were cherry cobbler, watermelon wonder, Dijon, mint, rose red, expresso, and soft suede, along with crumb and vanilla cardstock).
If you ever get stuck for a design with your Stampin’ Up projects, just flip through the catalog(s) for great ideas!

The next blog you will hop to is Diana's.
Enjoy her fun project and the rest of the bloggers' designs as well, and thanks for stopping by!

Here is the list of all the bloggers this month:

  1. What a pretty spring card, Mary! This is my favorite Flower Patch card that I've seen so far. This one is definitely getting pinned to my Pinterest board!

  2. Oooh - I am loving that embossing folder with the flowers! I'd have never paired them together - lovely card!!

  3. I think this has to be one of my favorite cards that you have done. Big hugs, Di
