Weekly card sketch design #51

Weekly card sketch design challenge is today!
The SQSC51 Challenge is migrating to the Paper Craft Crew Challenge… and today’s card is for PCCC#2.  Above is the card sketch.

Here is my card using My Digital Studio.  In the Comfort Cafe digital download, there are extra embellishments that you don't get with the designer paper - see the flowers and ribbon I used?  Those are some of the "extras."

There is a new My Digital Studio available now, and you can either buy MDS2 or purchase the upgrades to it - it has many new fun things you can play with so I will have to upgrade!  Remember you can try MDS out for free for a month to see how you like it....And just for this month, many of the digital downloads are discounted!
More info about these great deals on the side of my blog!!

Here are the other cards submitted by the design team:

Grab your stamping supplies and play along with us this week - keep these guidelines in mind for the weekly card sketch design challenges:

You may flip or rotate the sketch, change or replace the shapes, but please make sure the general layout is recognizable.
Share a direct link to your creation, not just your blog, using the InLinkz feature at the end of this post. If InLinkz is down, please add a link with your comment.
  • The Paper Craft Crew Design Team are Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators so please use a minimum of 2 Stampin’ Up! products on your card but don’t let that stop you from participating!

    • When uploading to online galleries, please use keyword SQSC 51 or PCCC 2, and include your name.
If you’d like to be considered as one of the spotlight cards, please be sure to link your project by Tuesday 8 a.m. EST and link your post to the Paper Crew site.

Each time you participate "adds up" and may earn you an invitation to be a guest designer for a future challenge! You can sign up for email updates so you will receive future info on new challenges, blog candy, and current card sketch designs as the new Challenge Blog develops, and more. There will be a "Grand Kick-Off" for the new blog the end of October!!

Hope you can join in the fun this week!

    Raining flowers card for class

This Stampin' Up set is called Raining Flowers - there are 13 stamps in it.  I am using it for one of the card projects in my monthly class next week.  What a great set this is - it came out last year and in researching other projects made with these stamps I realized how versatile it is!
This is the card we will be making - the blossom it popped up with layers of dimensionals and it is a very stunning card with the Floral District designer paper.
There is a picture of this beautiful blossom on my Stampin' Up blog http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/marynoble/
(or you can click on the link to my online store on the side of this blog).

One of the girls here fell in love with this blossom when she saw it and requested that I teach how to make it in class - so here it is!  I had lots of fun making it and it is much more beautiful and stunning in real life!!

Hello Card (3" x 3") Make this cute card tutorial

Make this sweet 3" x 3" Hello Card with the new paper-piercing pack template and FRAMELITS dies

Pictures of Framelits used - Window frames collection and Apothecary Accents:

See what you're cutting with FRAMELITS dies!  The innovative, thin, wafer-like design of these dies lets you see where you’re placing the design before you cut!  You can layer dies inside each other to cut frames for stamp images and/or cut single labels for accents or layering, also cut windows in card fronts or create frames. Many framelits have matching stamp sets, so you can easily cut out the stamped image perfectly!!
