It's time for another sketch challenge already-birthday card

Wednesday is here already and the end of the month too.  Time for a new sketch challenge at Stampin Queens!
Here's the card sketch challenge for this week.

I designed a birthday card with My Digital Studio, which came in real handy this week...I found out that someone I knew had a birthday, but I didn't know about it until the day before her birthday.  No time to make her a card and mail it to her.  So I used this fun digital software program to make a card for her and was able to email it to her so she got
it on her birthday!
This digital card uses Stampin Up's new Flirtatious designer paper and Hello Doily stamp.

Update on craft room; some favorite projects

Well I finally finished painting the tall big cupboard for my craft room!  I took the painter's tape off it today and stood back and admired it....

When I think back of how it used to look,

Wednesday's card sketch challenge - Stampin Queens

The middle of the week is here - that means it's time for another card sketch challenge with Stampin Queens!  Here is the card sketch to be used this week.  You can play along with us at:

I used My Digital Studio by Stampin Up to make my card this week - the paper used in my card was Paisley Petals.  I love that paper!  Here is my card:

The white stamps on the solid corner colors are also from the Paisley Petals stamp set.  I used the new ruffled ribbon and triple doily punch for the "flower" in the bottom left corner.  I was able to match up all the colors with My Digital Studio because it has a feature that you can "pick" the exact color you want to match another color in your project.

Here are some more of the other cards that used
 this week's sketch:

I bet you are wondering why they are so small - !!  Well I have to admit I did that on purpose so you would want to go to the Stampin Queens' website to see the larger versions of the cards, and the other great cards too!  Maybe even make a card and upload it to this week's challenge!  See you there!!

Another day in the life of our furbaby-visiting a mother-to-be

This weekend we took a 2-hour trip up north with our furbaby, Inu, to visit with Tootsi, at Dog Days in the park, put on by the Aussie Rescue Friends.  It was about 10 degrees cooler here so only about 89 degrees.  When you have 110-120 degree days, 89 degrees feels real nice!

What a sweetie Tootsi is....she is expecting puppies soon, maybe 2 weeks.  We visited with her last month and could see that she definitely is a little rounder and heavier.  Even her fur has gotten longer, now that she is being well-fed - hey isn't that what happens to us humans when we have a baby??  Here is Tootsi's picture from last month's visit and you can see she has a waist in this pic:

Our furbaby's daily dog walk routine

Time to take our furbaby, Inu, for one of her daily walks (she averages 3 a day!).  Oh yes, she is anxious to get out and see if she can find something interesting.

Gee whiz, Inu, can't we at least get to the end of our sidewalk?  No, she has to look into the dryer vent just in case there is some little critter hiding up there....there has been a recent influx of baby bunnies around lately, so maybe we can find one to play with....

After taking a good long look and sniff, with nothing turning up (or down?), Inu is ready to get going.

We get down the sidewalk and around the corner to a neighbors....
Hey Mom, there is a hole over here in this corner - I gotta check it out!!

This was a case of one of my previous My Digital Studio cards I did - here is my previous card:
