Halloween party treat boxes - coffins, haystacks!

My clog dancing class is celebrating Halloween and I am putting together some Halloween party favors, starting with Stampin' Up's coffin boxes!  Here is one that I started with that can be hung...it opens from the bottom so treats can be put inside it.

The rest of the boxes don't have the ribbon at the top, since I had 23 more to make!  Here are the 6 different types of boxes I made:

Here are some closeups - the mummies have green eyes; the skeleton has red eyes, and the bats are punched from black glimmer paper:

I will also be making these Paper Pumpkin party favors (haystacks) and put a New York peppermint patty in them:

Paper Pumpkin kits are a time saver and great when you need to make several projects!!

I am also giving some handouts with Halloween puzzles and mazes for folks to do:

Since the party is Monday night I will be making some pumpkin cupcakes to bring, and putting Halloween candies into containers so the dancers can choose which candies they want to put into their coffin treat box.  We have asked everyone to dress up in Halloween colors or costumes (I will be a giraffe!) and bring a snack if they want.  And we will be dancing to Halloween music!  I will share more pictures later if I remember to take some; often I get caught up in the fun and forget...What are your plans for Halloween??

Most of the products are Stampin' Up (both current and retired), and you can check them out in my online store:

Handmade cute crocheted critters etc.; great for Christmas gifts

Been working on a list of the Christmas gifts I have to get as I have to mail them out....and I wanted to share a few of the pictures of the cute crocheted critters my daughter-in-law, Nary, has been making.  These would be great for Christmas gifts!  She has an Etsy shop where you can order one for yourself, and she also does take amigurumi commissions.  I have seen her crochet while I visited and she really pays attention to making sure the details are perfect and uses yarn that is super soft.  The yarn is perfect for children and babies, and she also packages the items in pretty paper and gives a special gift for you!  Her prices are very reasonable and you just add the cost of shipping.

Take a look at these critters and check out her Etsy shop:   etsy.com/shop/narycrochet

You can see more of her crocheted items here:

Thanks for looking; I know she appreciates your business.

I can't believe that it is October already!  Which means the rest of the year will just fly by, right?!  So I know I will try to get everything done that I need to for the upcoming holidays, beginning with Halloween...One thing I have started doing is to use the card making kits that I subscribe to.  Stampin' Up has a monthly kit called Paper Pumpkin which I have been getting every since they started it and they feature both cards and cute projects.  You have several ways you can subscribe to it; by the month, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months or automatically.  I make it easy on myself and do it automatically!  You can check out more about this time-saving, convenient, and reasonably priced subscription in my store:  https://marynoble.stampinup.net/

Since I send out monthly birthday cards to my dance club's members, Paper Pumpkin has been perfect for doing this.  Above are two of the alternative cards I made with August 2021 kit called Hope.  Often you can purchase the refills of these kits.  Here are the other alternative cards I made with August's kit:

Here is what the original kit looked like:

I worked on my alternative cards and other Paper Pumpkin kits while I am watching tv - a great project to have others help you too - such as children and spouses (yes, mine even helps sometimes!)  I am getting read to put a happy birthday greeting on these cards before mailing them, as they are very versatile to use for different occasions.

Here is info on next month's kit Peaceful Christmas: When you picture a peaceful Christmas, what comes to mind? Do you see snow outside your window, softly swirling through the sky?
