We did an October card guts this month using a few Stampin' Up items from the new holiday catalog, including an adorable snowman!

Here is the fun holiday christmasy card I made:
The Stampin' Up pretty designer paper used here is from the Under the Mistletoe set and Santa's Workshop (you can cut the snowmen from the paper as all the papers are reversible!). Other products I used are Softly Falling embossing folder (snow falling, of course!!), thin 1/8" grosgrain lipstick red ribbon, layering square framelits, red rhinestones, and lovely lipstick cardstock. What was really fun with the red diagonal striped paper is that the white part of it is fuzzy to the touch!
For my card, I used a card sketch #PP416 from the Paper Players, shown below. It is always inspiring to use a new card design and it sure makes putting a card together much quicker :-)
You can purchase all of the Stampin' Up products that I used from my online store:

There are quite a few card kit sets that you can buy which makes putting multiple cards together even easier and faster, as well as economical!!
Of course we are thinking about Christmas coming, right?!
so pretty

ReplyDeleteRed and white is such a classic Christmas combination. It always looks fresh. The flocked paper adds a touch of texture. Thanks for playing with us at The Paper Players this week, Mary.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card Mary, and I love how you cut the images from patterned paper. Great take on the sketch, too. Thanks for sharing with us at The Paper Players!
