The holidays are coming....An easy Christmas card

This was such a fun and quick card to make, and the sweet sugarplum glitter ribbon was my color inspiration.  And you get silver glitter ribbon in the combo pack!  And almost no cutting with the Santa's Sleigh die thinlits - I only had to cut the ribbon, diecut the stars and trees, and tear the white paper for "snow!"

I stamped a holiday greeting in a matching color using the rich razzleberry ombre stamping pad!  There are 4 other colors of ombre pads (calypso coral, black,
bermuda bay, emerald envy) - so fun to use and can you imagine using the emerald or bermuda for matching tree cards?!

I "cased" this cute card from the magazine that Stampin' Up demonstrators receive for free.  You can get free project ideas, have access to many more designs and tutorials when you join as a demonstrator.  And you can do it all online from your own home.  Sure makes it convenient when you can't get to any classes, plus videos, a cardmaking community 24/7.  And I would be available online for you too!  Check it out in my online store....http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/marynoble/

More pictures of this card...well, actually I made 2 versions of it....can you see the difference between the 2 cards? (hint:  placement of the trees)  Which one do you like best?

BTW, Stampin' Up is having a special on some designer paper this month - buy 3 and get one free.  You can mix and match any of the following papers:  http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/marynoble/promotions

Two of the paper designs are Christmasy so you can start preparing for Christmas now - all of the products used in my tree cards can be purchased in my online store:   http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/marynoble/

October halloween blog hop

Welcome to this month’s blog hop with Di's Country Inkers!  Our theme for this blog hop is Halloween!  I never used to do anything special for Halloween, but when I joined Stampin’ Up and saw all the fun projects and cards you can make for Halloween, I started making them and enjoying the holidays a lot more!  The blog that was before mine was Kathya, a fellow Arizonian – wasn’t her project great?!  Here is my card using products from the holiday catalog and to celebrate World Card Making Day too.
If you are a Hello Kitty fan, you will like my card – I made it up to send to my new daughter-in-law, who likes Hello Kitty.

These are the Stampin’ Up products I used on my card:  Sweet Home stamp set, Eggplant cardstock and ink pad, Mini-tassel, Gold and clear Wink of Stella, Pumpkin glimmer paper, Halloween scene edgelits, Copper metallic thread, Burlap ribbon, Washi tape Pop of Pink set, Black baker’s twine, Halloween night enamel dots, and Cookie cutter builder punch.
You can purchase all of the Stampin’ Up products I used in my online store.
If you ever get stuck for a design with your Stampin’ Up projects, just flip through the catalog(s) for awesome great ideas!

The next blog you will hop to is Ellie’s, who is another fellow Arizonian.
Enjoy her fun project, the rest of the bloggers' designs as well, and thanks for stopping by!
Hope you are enjoying the new holiday Stampin’ Up catalog too!
