Welcome to this month’s blog hop with Di's Country
Inkers!
Our theme for this blog hop is
Case the catty. This means we pick out a project in one of the Stampin’ Up catalogs
and then “case” it (Copy And Share Everything). Here is the card that I came up
with:
I chose the bag on p. 34 of the Occasions
mini-catalog and turned it into a card. Here is what the bag looks like:
I knew I wanted to send my card to my mother on Mother’s Day, and since pink
is her favorite color, I used a different paper from the Have a Cuppa designer
series pack stack – one that has pink in it, of course.
Because her card will be going in the mail, I
eliminated the spoon and tiny tag embellishment at the top.
To add some subtle
bling that was mail-friendly, I added a few clear sequins above the pool party
teacup.
You can purchase all of the
Stampin’ Up products used in my online store (A Nice Cuppa stamp set, Cup &
Kettle framelits, Bermuda bay stitched ribbon, crumb cardstock, doilies).
If you ever get stuck for a design with your Stampin’ Up
projects, just flip through the catalog(s) for great ideas!
The next blog you will hop to is Connie's.
Enjoy her fun project and the rest of the bloggers' designs as well, and thanks for stopping by!
Super cute, your Mum is going to love it! Hugs, Di
