April blog hop!

Welcome to this month’s blog hop with Di's Country Inkers!  And happy April Fool's Day!!

Our theme for this blog hop are the colors in It's My Party paper pack - Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, and Mint Macaron.  Here is my card:

I based my inspiration on the card on p. 77 of  Stampin’ Up’s current catalog.  I changed a few details on the card which included using a different embossing folder since I didn’t have the Elegant Dots (I used Boho Chic), colored rhinestones, and a ribbon in linen thread. The stamp set/framelits die used were the Flower Patch and Flower Fair, which made it sooooo much easier to cut out the pretty flowers and leaves. How spoiled we are now with framelits diecuts and don’t have to fussy cut all the details!

You can purchase all of the Stampin’ Up products used in my online store (inkpad colors used were cherry cobbler, watermelon wonder, Dijon, mint, rose red, expresso, and soft suede, along with crumb and vanilla cardstock).
