Monthly card class - nongender cards

Here is one of the cards that we will be making in my monthly card class at my home - the 3 cards will be "nongender" - that means they can be given to either a guy or gal.  The class is on Dec. 9th (Sun.) at 4 - 6 pm and again on Dec. 10th (Mon.) at 11 - 1 pm.  Cost is $10 for 3 cards with envelopes and all supplies are included - You will also receive another fun item!

In this closeup, you can see that's a piece of burlap behind the little wooden wheelbarrow - seems that using burlap in projects is really popular now.  I love how you can fringe up the edges a little.

If you want to come to this class, send me an email or call me, OK?

Weekly Paper Craft Crew challenge #18

Time for the weekly Paper Craft Crew card sketch challenge #18!  Here is the design for this week, and below is my card.  Although this card was made using Stampin Up's My Digital Studio, I used elements that I actually have the real product as well.  So I used My Digital Studio to draft my card up and will be able to "see" how it will look when the paper products are used - cool, huh?

Christmas cards stamp-a-stack

This past weekend I had my Christmas card making class - it was a stamp-a-stack.  You could either make the 5 cards with envelopes, or 2 of each design.  We also enjoyed yummy Christmas cookies (yes, I made them!) and everyone got an early Christmas present, as well as a door prize.  It was tons of fun.  Here are some pictures of the cards we made.

It was nice to have some Christmas cards all ready to use BEFORE Thanksgiving!
The little bows were one of the favorites of everyone -
just may have to do a class just on bows lol.

Here are a few more pictures of the class:

Can you see my two furbabies on the left side?  They know now what good things happen AFTER the class....crumbs on the rug - yummy!

Mini-Christmas tree with snowflake paper clips for everyone, as well as mini-stamps and pads.  And doorprizes for everyone.

The best part - Christmas cookies!!

Paper Craft Crew weekly card sketch #16

Time for another card sketch design with Paper Craft Crew #16!
 http://www.papercraftcrew.com/2012/11/14/pcccs-16-card-sketch

This is a pretty design and with Christmas approaching, I had to make a Christmas card.  I used Stampin' Up's My Digital Studio with the cute little owl stamps and paper.

See, some of the other Paper  Craft Crew design team had the same idea about Christmas cards as I did!

Hope you can join us - upload your card here, OK?
